First class took a special trip to GMIT to participate in two Science related workshops. The first workshop involved looking at the different components that make up our blood. We then got to make our own blood using sweets! After that we went to one of the lecture halls to listen to some GMIT students and lecturers tell us all about healthy food. A brilliant day out was had by all 😊

First Class are celebrating science week this week! We had a special visitor Tom who told us all about birds all over the world and in Ireland. We learned so many new facts! Tom also showed us how to make swans from origami and has a huge impressive collection himself! Thanks to Tom for all his hard work and a brilliant afternoon 😊
