Music Generation

We are very lucky in 2nd class as we will be taking part in the Music Generation programme this year. Our teachers Ingrid and Ciara teach us lots of new things in music such as what a ‘steady beat’ is and the names of different musical notes. 


After Halloween we are very excited as we will be beginning to learn the violin!

Second class had a talk from Zeeko on how to use our phones, tablets, game consoles and smart TVs safely. We talked about how to deal with cyber bullying, social media and digital stranger danger and learned what our digital footprint is. Amazing Work!

Some more pictures for you to check out! Look at this amazing art work completed by Kiko! Cucumber making or “Salt Cucumbers” as they are called in Polish. This boy used cucumbers, horse radish, dill, garlic, water and salt. How talented!  Happy Birthday!! Looks like he had a terrific day and had a delicious cake to celebrate!! Yummy!! Here is a wonderful story on how Easter is celebrated in Poland! It is so interesting to learn about other countries. Well done to Filip for this great work and beautiful handwriting!  An example of some Gaeilge work that has been completed!
